NEW BROWARD COUNTY RABIES LAW IN EFFECT
Florida now joins 34 other states to recongnize the three-year Rabies Vaccine. Veterinarians are given a choice to either vaccinate with a 1year or 3 year. Royal Palm Veterinary Hospital is offering our Canine patients the 3year vaccine as of January 1,2006
Each dog and cat will still receive the Rabies vaccine at four months. Your pet will then be revaccinated in 12 months to build the rabies virus neutralizing antibodies. Following this vaccine your dog will only need to be vaccinated every 3 years, our cat friends we still reccomend vaccinating with the 1 year vaccine.
